Philosophy of Advaita Meetings

Our Advaita meetings are facilitated by long-term members who have practised meditation for over 40 years. Participants are encouraged to share personal experiences and insights.

ADVAITA SUNDAY WITH PHILIP MARVIN

ONE SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH
10:30 – 12:30

At Colet House and on Zoom

These Sunday Advaita meetings get to the very heart of non-dual teaching.

We hope you are going to find these gatherings both inspiring and practical. A theme may be introduced or a question may spark a spontaneous conversation. Many long-term members of The Study Society have been regular participants of this group for some time but new visitors join every month and all are most welcome. Philip Marvin is the group facilitator, he has over forty years of experience as both a student and teacher of Advaita..

These meetings are offered free of charge. Please consider making a donation to The Study Society to support the charity.

ADVAITA SUNDAY WITH NORMAN ALDERTON

FIRST SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH 10:30 -12:00

On Zoom

Attendees are encouraged to share their experiences and insights of the non-dual philosophy, calling on teaching from whichever source is found to be of value.

Sometimes a topic is selected to focus discussion but no extensive theory is offered leaving attendees to speak from their own awareness. The emphasis is for the simple principles to be appreciated in the company of like-minded people. Many who have shared these principles find they have universal application. It is not a question of getting somewhere, but realising who we already are. It is not a state of mind but a transcending of mind.

Non Members of The Study Society are welcome to attend Advaita Meetings.
